The Role
As the Admissions Specialist, you will provide a high quality and efficient admissions service to both undergraduates and postgraduates students. You will be responsible for a supporting with selection decisions on behalf of the Coventry University Group using the selection criteria against the student applications. You will be working to timescales, policies and practices of the recruitment and admissions team, ensuring applications are processed and key admission activities are undertaken on the groups online admissions system.
You will be responsible for making offers to successful applicants having assessed personal statements, grades and all other application criteria, ensuring compliance with a range of admission checks. You will also be responsible for other essential admissions procedures including new qualification assessments, discontinued courses and fraudulent applications.
You will support the administration of making non-standard offers made by other sources including subsidiaries and faculties, ensuring these offers are within the agreed timescales and are in line with policies and practices.
The CURA admissions operation, a team focused on advising students about their best choice of course, supporting them during their application journey and making decisions on their suitability to study with us, so that every single student can enrol in the intake they want.
