Please note that in this entry to mid-level role you will deliver technical solution and development on Oracle R12 instance according to best practices-oriented development (data model knowledge, API driven development and coding standards) in agile approach. Oracle Developer will be part of development team that supports all aspects of the Aviation ERP footprint and associated 3rd party integrated applications. The role will be responsible for technical deliverables and development as per GE and Oracle standards applying agile approach.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ability to take ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver independently

  • Contributes to design discussions.

  • Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.

  • Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices.

  • Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.

  • Proactively shares information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in with advanced experience. PLEASE NOTE: Location: Europe Remote/Flexible. European applicants encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Requirement:

This role will be based in the UK and can be based remotely within the UK, with some travel required.
You must be based in the UK and be SC Cleared or be able to achieve SC clearance in order to perform this role.

Desired Skills:

  • Some experience working with Oracle R12 and development tools such as PL/SQL, Forms, XML Publisher, Oracle Applications Framework (OAF), Linux/ Unix shell scripting

  • Functional understanding of Finance modules. Basic understanding of General Ledger and Accounts Receivables modules

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills that non-technical end users can understand, Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Experience working in an Agile environment
