We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed specialist Art Technician to support the work of our vibrant and successful Art Department. This is a varied and challenging role requiring a highly organised and efficient individual with proven technical, aesthetic, administrative and cleaning skills. There will be opportunities to develop within the team and make a valued contribution to students’ learning.

Lytchett Minster is a successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with approximately 1550 students, 288 of whom are in the exceptional sixth form. The learning environment is stunning with extensive and beautiful grounds; the school site is comprised of South Lytchett Manor House together with a number of modern extensions including the Arts block and theatre. We pride ourselves on our high standards and positive ethos, the school is popular and highly regarded in the community.

The working hours for this post are 8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.30am - 4.00pm on Fridays

The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
