My client is a large retail business based in Tamworth
Key responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant will be identifying improvements in financial reporting pack production, maintenance of fixed asset and software accounting records and Asset Ledger which feeds into the monthly, quarterly and annual fixed asset reporting, aspects of monthly inter-company reconciliation and agreement, working with business partners to track capex spend, and capital WIP against budgets and rolling forecasts.
The successful candidate will be studying a relevant financial qualification, strong interpersonal skills, 3 years experience in finance, strong excel skills and desire to be hands on.
