Location: ST4, Stoke on Trent
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 15:30-19:30
Pay: £10.42 per hour
Contract: temporary ongoing till June 2023

We are currently looking for experienced catering assistants to join our client's team in a warehouse kitchen in Stoke-on-Trent. It is a temporary ongoing role and we are looking for individuals who are happy to work in a fast paced environment and have ability to work on their own and as a part of the team.

Your role as a catering assistant (not limited to):

• General assistant duties
• Assisting those in the kitchen with you
• Washing pots/pan
• General food prep
• Serving food at the counter in a canteen environment
• Working front of house
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Keeping surfaces clean and tidy
• Clearing tables
• Operating tills

About you:

• Previous experience in catering environment (essential)
• Able to work both Saturday and Sunday ongoing
• Able to work within a fast-paced environment
• Great customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to multi-task
• Can work well within a team and independently
• Can follow direct orders
• Polite and friendly
• Able to build good relationships

Qualifications/Licences/Certifications

• In date Food&Hygiene Level 1 or above (not to worry, we can provide you with Food&Hygiene level 1 free of charge)
• At least 1 year of experience in catering environment
