Your new role
Hitachi Rail have a great opportunity to join our UK Manufacturing site as a Material Controller. If successful you will be joining a dedicated production cell team and will become an integral part of our business by gathering and sharing appropriate information and ensuring targets are met and procedures are followed at all times. Prior Material Controlling experience is essential along with the ability to work in a fast paced, always moving environment.
The Material Controller will hold responsibility for scheduling and planning materials for specific production cell and will monitor and track top running items to allow for accurate forecasting by ensuring system models are maintained. This is ideal role for someone who is highly organised, enjoys a challenge and is able to communicate to various stakeholders clearly and effectively. Each day will be varied and fast paced and you will understand the necessity of speed within a high value low volume manufacturing environment.
Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract.
