Early Years Teacher – Leeds

Do you have a passion for working with children? Do you have the ability to engage children whilst they are learning basic numeracy and literacy skills?

If so then we currently have a fantastic opportunity for a nursery teacher in our fantastic school located in a great location.

What does the job entail?

Assisting children at meal times, Showing your creative side and planning the room lay out for the day (e.g decorating tuff trays, setting up role play areas, setting up cosy areas for ready for story time, setting up engaging maths, literacy etc focused activities for the children.) Keeping up to date with key children's observation records and most importantly getting stuck in and having fun!

Although this job may be challenging at times the school will be there to support you with excellent opportunities, support and guidance.

The ideal candidate:

– Have experience working with children or a genuine passion for this.

– If you are looking to kick-start a career with children.

– Some experience working with schools/children.

– Flexible and adaptable.

– Ability to communicate effectively.

– Friendly and approachable.

– Have a passion for working with children.

– Excellent knowledge of the EYFS.
