About the role:
We have a great opportunity for a Finance Improvement Analyst to join our team in our Birmingham office on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role sits within our Finance Operations team and is responsible for continuous review and improvement of supplier related financial processes to drive change in line with policy. Within this role you will operate and control the set up and maintenance of finance related supplier data within the Practice Management System, and associated processes for critical suppliers.
About you:
We are looking for someone who has experience working in operational finance and accounts payable ideally within a legal or financial services background. Within this role you will process and analyse a high volume of detailed data and therefore will need to demonstrate an analytical approach to data management, ensuring excellent attention to detail whilst consistently producing high quality work..
To this role you will bring a good understanding of operational risk and controls, a flexible and proactive approach to identifying and delivering process improvements whilst being able to work to given timeframes and anticipate likely workflows.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels and competent in the use of MS Office, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. You will be team player ensuring a proactive attitude to your key tasks and responsibilities collaboratively working to improve processes working towards the development of the firm as a whole.
