Location: Bristol and Surrounding Area
Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking for a new opportunity? Are you interested in working on exciting projects within the Water Industry! I am seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join my client delivering schemes across their prestigious frameworks with water utility companies as well as the Environment Agency.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to execute works on Treatment Waste and Water schemes
• Install, maintain, and repair plant equipment including pumps, motors, and pipework
• Conduct inspections and tests for mechanical faults and degradation
• Perform pipe tapings and fitting of valves and instrumentation
• Replace sluice gates, flap valves, and penstocks
• Work in confined spaces as required

Requirements:

• Mechanical engineering qualification, apprenticeship, or relevant experience
• CSCS skills card and City & Guilds Confined Space Training
• Experience using power tools and interpreting engineering drawings
• Additional certifications such as SSSTS, SMSTS, EUSR, and First Aid at Work are desirable
