Job Description

Protocol Education are working in partnership with a “good” secondary school within the Wakefield area and are looking to recruit an outstanding MFL teacher specialising in French.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate about teaching and learning and delivering positive learning outcomes for every child within their care. The inspiring teacher will be primarily responsible for KS3 learners, but experienced practitioners may also be tasked with delivering KS4 lessons.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of teaching French to KS3 and preferably KS4.
  • Be an inspirational practitioner who maximises the potential of students and staff.
  • Maximise achievement through rigorous monitoring, intervention, and review.
  • Have energy, resilience, optimism, a sense of humour and the determination to see things through.
  • Make a full contribution to the wider life of the school and the personal development of its students.

Both experienced and Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply for the role. Successful applicants must also hold the relevant certifications to practice within this role and will also have a DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo relevant DBS checks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
