About the Role:

We are looking to hire an incredible individual to take on a Head of People - supporting business needs in an autonomous manner. You are interested in making a significant impact and excels in a fast-paced, high engagement environment with an extraordinary desire to deliver value and first-rate service. You are comfortable speaking up and driving initiatives forward and have an interest in implementing impactful people programmes.

This role will be at the heart of Allegra’s people strategy, supporting the business in creating a competitive advantage through market leading operational services and forward thinking strategic work streams, as well as supporting each individual to define their journey to meet their own aspirations and those of the Allegra Group.

- Discretion:someone with the ability to exercise discretion and handle sensitive information across the company.

What will success look like for the candidate in this role?

To be successful in this role you will need an excellent understanding of our organisation, our strategy, and goals, and how best to achieve them. Knowing how the dynamics of the business work and how change will affect other areas. Flexibility and versatility are key, a big part of the job is thinking up innovative ways of doing things and having the confidence to question traditional systems. We need someone who can step back and take an objective view, challenging ideas and taking a longer-term view.

What do we want you to know before you apply?

We are looking for someone that can act as a Head of People offering expertise in all people areas, and doing more operational activity such as dealing with employee relations or policy issues as well as driving people strategy for the business.

What does a day in the life of a Head of People look like?

No day is ever the same! You will be responsible for project work across a range of disciplines including recruitment, leadership coaching and development, Performance Management, Organisational Design, Diversity, Change Management, Policy/Procedure reviews, Remuneration and Benefits, and L&D. Every day provides the opportunity to make a change.

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
