About Our Client

Our FMCG client is looking to recruit a head office accountant into their established finance team based in West London.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Invoice Management for the whole company, treasury forecast and submission
• Budgeting and Forecasting (quarterly) working with cost centre heads
• Payment Management
• Variance Analysis Versus Budget
• Ad-hoc requests
• Monthly cash flow forecasting
• Payroll Forecasting
• Cost centre reporting - liaise with cost centre heads providing actual vs budgeting comparison each month
• Compliance including VAT return, payroll related tax issues and liaison with HMRC and external tax advisers
• Supporting with year end procedures liaising with auditors and audit queries

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

• Must have experience with budgeting and forecasting
• Must have experience with payment management
• Must have experience dealing with Payroll and ensuring this is done efficiently
• Must have a strong communication skills
• Must have the ability to develop and progress within their career
• Must have the ability to work effectively within a team
• Experience with Microsoft 365 dynamics
