As Commercial Value Proposition (CVP) Development Lead, you’re going to be a vital part of our Shell Fleet Solutions Business, which has the largest B2B direct customer base in Downstream, with hundreds of thousands of B2B customers in 47 markets and has one of the largest payment platforms in the world.

What’s the role?

This is a new role in the Marketing team, focusing on developing our Customer Value Propositions (CVP’s). As CVP Development Lead you deeply understand what customers want and need and develop value propositions accordingly. You will have end-to-end ownership of multiple Sustainability, Fleet Management, Digital and Payment propositions. You will be responsible for managing both the product and customer life cycle.

Within the Marketing team the CVP Development Lead evolves our solutions to drive continuous value for our customers. You will develop a deep understanding of the needs of our customers in various segments, with the aim to maximize customer lifetime value, retention and loyalty.

As a CVP Development Lead, you will be reporting into the Shell Fleet Solutions Marketing Manager for the UK. You will work in close alignment with our partners and other business functions such as Global, B2C, Customer Service and the rest of the Marketing team.

You will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

  • As a key member of Shell Fleet Solutions team, the CVP Development Lead will be key in driving customer lifetime value. You will be the expert on the needs of the customer for various segments. Becoming an expert in putting the customer first in everything we do and realize growth by delivering superior customer experience.

  • You will have end-to-end ownership of multiple Sustainability, Fleet Management, Digital and Payment propositions. With the responsibility for managing both the product and customer life cycle.

  • You will make sure we use the full extent of our customer data. Making learning and decision-making more objective. Your market, competitor and customer knowledge will contribute to shaping product roadmaps, improving customer experience and of course, offering compelling services to our customers.

  • You will deliver solutions that will help our customers on their decarbonization journey. Making them Accelerate to Net Zero.

  • You will work closely together with wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • This role offers an exciting mix of direct ownership of key value proposition as well as helping implement relevant global initiatives at a local level.

What we need from you?

Alongside your proven experience within commercial B2B delivery, in business mobility, or another relevant environment, we’re keen to talk to people with as many of the following as possible on their CV:

  • Strong CVP Development and Project Delivery Experience

  • Curiosity about customer insights and external trends and able to translate those into actionable initiatives

  • Ability to build commercial and insight-driven propositions

  • Experience and interest in managing both the product and customer life cycle

  • Interest and affinity with digital and payment products

  • You have marketing skills (planning, marketing activation, digital marketing)

  • Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, good communication skills

  • Strong project managements skills required
