Job Title: Order Processing Specialist- Part Time

Job Description Summary:

Under the direction of the Manager Order Processing, to ensure orders are submitted into the Global Project Management System, to ensure internal and external client requirements and specifications are met, to ensure orders are prioritized appropriately.

Understand the impact of non-compliance with standards, policies, processes, and procedures as set out within GPM, FCS SOP’s and Health and Safety Policies.

This is a part time role working 16 hours per week!

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Team Leader of Order Processing, ensures that

objectives are achieved to timelines and performance standards.

Responsible for:

• Proficient use of FCS systems.
• Adhere to FCS SOP’s.
• Ensure both internal and external client expectations are met.
• Limited exposure to clients in the presence of other Company representatives.
• Using FCS Internal Helpdesk system.
• Maintaining Individual training manual.
• Ensure timelines are met.
• Daily consignment summary reports.
• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Maintaining Office supplies.
• An understanding of Clinical Trials supplies and services that FCS provides.
• Build and approve orders in GPMS - Ensure that orders and associated paperwork are accurate.
• Ensure own training needs are met!
• Discharge any task as recommended by the Manager Order Processing should the business need arise.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 x GCSE or equivalent experience/qualification (including English and Mathematics)

Preferred Qualifications / Experience:

• Worked within a GMP environment.
• Worked within an operational environment.
• Proficient use of electronic and automated equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft packages: Excel & Word.
• Ability to plan and organize effectively.
• Clearly and effective communicate skills.
• General admin duties; Filing, photocopy, office housekeeping.
• Demonstrates and ability to guide and mentor effectively.
• A high level of accuracy with attention to detail.
