We are looking for 2 highly experienced leaders to work within the strand of Behaviour, Safeguarding and Culture. These are new posts that will lead with the strategic oversight from the Deputy Headteacher within the following areas: Behaviour & Culture; Attendance Champion.

Behaviour and Culture

• Ideally you will have experience of working within a culture that sets high expectations of behaviour and respect, understanding the need for a consistent approach to upholding the academy values. You will be highly skilled in intrinsically motivating young people through careful dialogue whilst have the skills to challenge behaviours where required. You will work closely and collaboratively with the SLT and Pastoral team to ensure that continued development in this area is sustained adapting and evolving as the pupil profile changes over time. You will have an explicit understanding of the current challenges that face young people, and be pro-active and creative in how quality curricula and provision can ensure young people succeed.

Attendance Champion

• Ideally you will have experience of working within a culture that sets high expectations of behaviour and respect, understanding the need for a consistent approach to upholding the academy values. You will be highly skilled in intrinsically motivating young people to attend school regularly, understanding the current challenges. You will work closely and collaboratively with the SLT and Attendance Team to ensure that continued development in this area is sustained. You will have an explicit understanding of the current attendance legislation and guidance within attendance and be pro-active and creative in how quality curricula and provision can ensure young people succeed.
