Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team? We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to take on the role of Senior Finance Manager within our Global Business Services (GBS) organisation. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and developing strategies to improve financial performance.

This role sits within the leadership team of GBS R2R Commercial Services, and offers hybrid working with a combination of home and office working and can be based out of our Farnborough, Poole, Manchester or Hebburn office with travel to Farnborough occasionally.

You will partner the business, working closely with CFOs & Function Heads, planning and delivering the forecasts and budgets for our support functions across multiple countries. As a Senior Finance Manager you will coordinate and lead activities across country and business boundaries ensuring individual contributors within the team meet the timelines and quality expectations or our customers.

This is a highly visible role and as such requires someone with the drive, ambition and organisational awareness to ensure best in class processes and accuracy in our activities.

In addition to business partnering with our customers, you will also be a key player in ensuring the growth of the R2R CS service offering, maximising our effectiveness in identifying the needs of our customers and providing solutions that match these needs.

What will I deliver:

  • Provide excellent business partnering to our customers including CFO’s and Heads of Function providing valuable support and advice
  • Lead planning activities with a focus on supporting our customers strategic and tactical objectives and providing clear and impactful communications throughout the process
  • Take ownership of the planning activities for specific business areas
  • Manage and coordinate the submissions to our reporting tools for monthly closing, forecast and budget across P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, ensuring consistency
  • As a domain expert, support the Finance Business Partners on more complex and ad hoc financial and business administration topics
  • Embrace change and leverage the latest digital tools to transform our processes. Utilise the strength of our delivery teams to maximise efficiency
  • Develop our service offering working closely with our customers to deliver solutions that meet the changing needs of their business
  • Work as a valued member of the team in developing pricing strategies and bids for our services
  • Operationally support and guide team members contributing to the success of the R2R CS team
  • Act as a role model, coach and mentor for out talented team members
  • Lead ad hoc projects within the team and for our customers ensuring customer first and one team approach

What do I need to qualify for the role:

  • Qualified CIMA/ACCA/qualified by experience
  • Proven ability to communicate and influence stakeholders
  • Desire to develop your leadership skills and work as part of a team
  • Confident in Microsoft Office products (inc. Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experienced in SAP ERP systems
  • Understanding of global accounting guidelines and principals
