The role is part of the Account to Report team and leads a Financial Accounting team to deliver accurate and timely execution of Financial Accounting activities for a large set of entity codes. This role will also provide guidance and perform complex transactions, overseeing Finance data management, planning, and budgeting activities and is responsible for statutory reporting for multiple entities. It also includes support for projects and continuous improvement and liaising with Finance Business Partners in case of escalated issues.
Responsibilities:
Manages accounting activities in accordance with the organization's accounting policies and procedures
Directs and monitors accounting activities, ensuring effective accounting for all transactions and statutory accounts
Manages various functions including general ledger, fixed asset accounting and year-end audit preparation
Provides advice and recommendations to management
Ensures integrity of accounting records for accuracy and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Qualified Accountant
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Professional certification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) required
Substantial relevant experience in a multi-national company
Proven supervisory or demonstrated leadership experience
