We are looking for Production Manager for one of our amazing clients.

Responsible for execution of the daily plan in line with BRC standards and other customer specific requirements. This includes meeting targets in line with recommended costs.

• Ensuring quality of production is reflective of company standards and brand values.
• Plan staffing levels for shifts and ensure efficiency targets are met and improved upon daily. Accountable for shift costs incurred.
• Report shift numbers to finance including any information on breakdowns, delays, issues encountered.
• Work with production planning and the COO to ensure the production plan is put in place two weeks in advance. Ensure the plan is executable and in line with allergen management requirements.
• Ensure cleaning and hygiene of the factory is up to standard and in line with BRC requirements. Ensure the staff is trained and practices ‘clean as you go’ on a daily basis.
• Ensure paperwork for start up, hourly and end of shift is correctly and thoroughly filled out and any non-conformances addressed and closed off within 24 hours. Ensure 100% traceability is maintained and all records are available for reference at any given time.
• Ensure daily briefing with the supervisory team and notes from the meeting are recorded and actioned upon. Ensure handover between shifts and clear communication of any issues or incidents to COO.
• Ensure start up checks and machine checks are carried out on a daily basis.
• Maintain a log of concession forms and quarantine products and ensure clear segregation in the warehouse.
• Ensure clear segregation and labelling of ingredients, ingredient bins and storage in high care areas.
• Maintain a holiday calendar for staff and ensure any absences are clearly recorded with return to work questionnaires filled out as necessary.
• Ensure all staff is trained and records available for reference.
