SANZA & Tradewind are a well known educational agency seeking a calm, positive role model to work with some students with behaviour needs in year 5. This will predominantly be on a 1:1 basis but there could be some group work involved too. This is a long-term position starting as soon as possible. The role will continue for the rest of this academic year and next year too.

Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one support to students with behaviour needs

Assist with academic and social activities, ensuring the child is fully engaged in the classroom environment.

Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, supporting the child's emotional well-being and social development.

Collaborate with the class teacher and other members of the school's SEN team to implement effective strategies and interventions for the child's progress.

Provide feedback and reports on the child's progress and development to the class teacher and SENCo.

Requirements: Relevant experience working with children with behaviour needs.

Knowledge of strategies to support communication, regulation, and social skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and school staff.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following school policies and procedures.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
