Transformation Programme Manager

ROLE PURPOSE

The Transformation Programme Manager will translate the business strategy to meet the business need and design a programme of delivery projects to achieve the ambition.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Line management responsibility of a multi-disciplined team, to proactively lead the delivery of projects within a Programme
• Active role in the Transformation senior leadership team with management responsibilities, ownership of continuous improvement and colleague mentoring & support across the team
• Clearly defining programme structure and vision with project deliverables, which are closely aligned to the business strategy
• Work with key stakeholders & external partners to plan and design the programme and pro-actively monitor its overall progress, resolving issues, mitigating risks and initiating corrective action
• Set up and run a programme governance structure for all projects with clear roles & responsibilities, defined stage gates and decision makers
• Engage & influence all stakeholders across the programme, so that business changes land effectively into business divisions through appropriate change management strategies
• Define and own the programme budget, monitoring expenditure and costs to ensure that the programme is delivered on time and within the agreed budget allocation
• All programme level risks and issues are appropriately identified, managed, and escalated
• Ensure project team members feel they are supported and listened to, contributing to the success of a cross functional team and have a positive experience of being part of the Transformation delivery

ABOUT YOU

• A Programme Manager with experience across the end to end design & delivery lifecycle of Transformation programmes/projects from early concept idea to transition into BAU operations
• A proven track record in delivering complex transformational business programmes, ideally in relevant hospitality industries, leading others through ambiguity
• You have a flexible and pragmatic approach to developing and delivering solutions
• A proven influencer and strong communicator with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong leadership skills and demonstrable experience of establishing and managing cross functional programme and project teams and willing to get into detailed delivery if required
• The ability to demonstrate calm and resilient leadership, motivate others with a positive growth mindset and support key stakeholders to make decisions for major changes
• Experienced in delivering commercially focused Programmes for a fast paced, high growth and complex multi-branded business
• Able to lead and deliver software solutions as well as people, behavioural and business process change
• Ability to think both strategically and analytically to solve complex business challenges
• Ability to build trusted relationships with cross functional teams and senior stakeholders
• Commercially astute and be able to produce and articulate sound business cases that demonstrate clear business benefits and return on investment for projects
