Job Description

As the Planning Team Leader you will be responsible for:

• The Planning & Scheduling Operation within UK including planning and releasing technical route cards, supplier management, material chasing, BoM management and WIP management
• Creating an aligned, cohesive Operational plan for all UK operators to aid in the efficient delivery of orders
• Maintaining high customer services levels in regards to order delivery working closely with the Engineering / Program teams requiring updates on delivery (including expected delays)
• Managing the UK Inventory planning, delivery and KPIs Planning and releasing technical route cards
• Working cohesively with Assembly, Machining and Metrology teams to align on lead times and resolve any issue
• Performance management of a small planning team

The Successful Applicant

The successful Planning Team Leader will have:

• 
  Previously worked in a similar planning position within a manufacturing organisation - ESSENTIAL
• Managed (or mentored) a team previously - ESSENTIAL
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - ESSENTIAL
• Excellent organisation skills - ESSENTIAL
• A relevant qualification or equivalent - ESSENTIAL
• Previously worked in the automotive industry - DESIRABLE
