Chief Operating Office
The Chief Operating Office of the Investment Division is responsible for the organization and steering of operative activities. Examples are implementing strategic initiatives for the Investment Division (Active, Passive, Trading & Liquid Real Assets), change projects, supervision of operational processes and governance structures, human resources management, performing controls as well as budget management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project management and steering of projects as well as (change) initiatives
  • Identification and implementation of process optimizations and innovations
  • Performing and supervising Level1-business-controls
  • Point of contact and escalation for portfolio management and trading regarding controls, processes, projects, initiatives, questions and issues in daily business
  • Close collaboration with DWS senior management and all Investment Division-related businesses (e.g., Compliance, Audit, DCO, Operations) as well as the Product Division and the Client Coverage Division

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Economics from an or a comparable degree
  • Relevant professional experience in financial services or a comparable field
  • Experiences in working on projects are beneficial
  • Problem-solving skills and willingness to implement changes in daily business
  • Strong communication skills as well as confident appearance combined with assertiveness (also in conflict situations)
  • High degree of initiative, commitment, goal orientation and flexibility
  • Analytical and conceptual skills
