The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.
Summary of position:
To set and operate a range of CNC controlled machinery within the company as required
Main responsibilities:
This role is open to both those who have experience in the key area or those who have some knowledge and are keen to develop and grow through exposure to the following activities and equipment:
- Setting and operating CNC machines including;
- KIA KH63G Twin Pallet Horiz
- Mazak
- TOS VARNSDORF WHN130MC
- UNION TC110
- TOYODA FH80
- CINCINNATI FTV5
- Production of precision machined components and tooling items as required
- Checking the quality of components produced throughout the batch cycle
- Recording of quantities and time taken using company systems
- Carry out regular maintenance of the machines as per company schedules
- Following company procedures as required
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- The role will involve setting and operating a variety of CNC 3/4/5 axis Milling machines.
- Must have some understanding in using Fanuc / Siemens machine controls.
- The ideal candidate must have some CNC experience and is keen and willing to learn more CNC Machinist skills.
- Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by Senior Management.
