Job Description

Join Gear4music's fast-paced product team as a compliance specialist for its Own Brand products. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all products meet and exceed the high quality control and compliance standards set by the company. No two days are the same – you’ll be conducting, reporting and feeding back on total product strip downs, PAT, XRF, RF, load and flammability tests, just to name a few! You'll also liaise with overseas factories and distribution centres, as well as internal stakeholders. Additionally, you'll be responsible for researching new and relevant compliance regulations and ensuring that all new Own Brand products are in line with relevant standards.

Gear4music sets high quality standards for its own-brand products, and you will help to complete and feedback QC reports for batch deliveries, liaising with overseas factories and distribution centres, and internal stakeholders through to their resolution. Reading and studying will be a healthy part of this varied role. The world of product compliance is always evolving, and you will be pivotal to providing in-time reports on new and relevant compliance regulations, recommending resolutions and guidance to management. You will help to keep all new own-brand products in line with relevant standards, by researching standards for new product ventures, and proofing silkscreen, packaging and manual designs for relevant compliance markings, guidance and warnings, all to procurement deadlines.
