Job Description


An exciting opportunity has come up for a Workplace Experience Manager to lead a small team in our London Headquarters, responsible for creating a great place to work for more than 500 colleagues.

As a key member of the Global Workplace Experience team you’ll manage the full range of hard and soft workplace activity - both the delivery of services that includes reception, cleaning, catering, maintenance, health & safety, security, risk management and compliance, as well as the more experiential side of local events and wellbeing activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating optimised workplace environments – that support hybrid ways of working, including physical space design, space utilization and tech tools.
  • Managing day-to-day operations – including building management, contract management, maintenance, office services and standards, health and safety, budget management and environmental legislation
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders - such as Building Management, Finance, Security, Tech Operations and the wider People team to ensure everything runs smoothly and Trainliners receive a great service
  • Establishing positive relationships with leadership teams - to understand business requirements and anticipate any inefficiencies or quality issues and work to quickly resolve
  • Advocating for local team needs – understanding employee sentiment and contributing to action plans and group strategy
  • Establishing sustainable practices – that supports Trainline in achieving its net zero goals and living by its green purpose
  • Managing local events – to create social occasions that bring people together and promote company connections
  • Gathering and reporting performance metrics - to monitor usage and productivity of staff, as well as Trainliner satisfaction
  • Participating in construction and design projects – as and when needed, representing local needs and requirements in planning and executing move-in activities, including change management and communication plans

Qualifications
  • Several years experience in facilities management, preferably in a Technology organisation of similar size or larger
  • You'll be able to think on your feet and slove problems quickly
  • Great communication skills and the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels will be essential
  • Health & Safety Awareness or similar qualification
  • Experience leading a team is desirable but not essential
  • Be able to work full-time on site in our Central London HQ, with some flexibility when needed
