A Company in Stevenage are looking for a Customer Service Officer to join their team and work alongside/provide support to Sales Account Managers.

Job Summary:
To manage and provide administrative support for customer accounts and new/potential business accounts. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager
£23k Per Annum
Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm (30 mins Lunch) Friday 8.30am – 1pm

Customer Service Officer Duties & Responsibilities
  • Act as the customer advocate for the Company
  • Manage and track own customer accounts.
  • Providing administrative support to Sales Account Managers.
  • To work with Planning/Operations on the sales order book
  • Participate in customer meetings to build relationship and for business growth.
  • Ensure that sales orders/amendments are done with correct price and delivery confirmed in a timely fashion, negotiate on delivery dates that do not meet those stipulated by the customer on the order.
  • Attend, as and when required, daily/weekly production meetings and communicate to required personnel and customer any changes to the monthly planning.
  • Update CRM package with prospects and opportunities & keep an update sales pipeline.
  • Manage the administration of all sales orders and amendments.
  • Administration of customer invoicing.
  • Raises invoices as required.
  • Answering of the switch board.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages (Excel)
  • Comfortable communicating with customers by telephone and email.
  • Previous experience in a Customer Service Officer / Sales Coordinator position.
  • Experience in Electronic Manufacturing industry is desirable but not essential.
