Job Description

We are seeking a candidate experienced in the security industry to join our permanent team as Deputy Security Shift Manager at an iconic national venue in London.

The Deputy Security Shift Manager will be responsible for assisting the Security Shift Manager in managing all security personnel and the day-to-day operational issues occurring throughout their shift, providing a central point of contact for service delivery development, performance, measurement and reporting.

The Deputy Security Shift Manager role involves 12-hour 15 minute shifts, and you must be available for both day and night shifts with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Essential Skills

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • Valid SIA CCTV Licence.
  • Fully comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history that is possible to screen to BS7858.
  • High levels of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have demonstrable experience of working in a similar role in high profile/high footfall environments.
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • Experience in the supervision of staff.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Able to negotiate and deal with sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Adaptable and responsive to changes in priorities, plans, and schedules.
