Are you someone who is passionate about creating, maintaining, manipulating, and analysing data? If you are then these opportunities within Statutory Assessment and Reporting (SAR) part of the Chief Scientist Group the national Environment & Business Directorate are not to be missed.
SAR are always seeking new and innovative ways to use and share data and information. We help to drive reporting of environmental indicators within Environment Improvement Plan. We support Operations by providing high quality data and information so that they can be evidence based in local decision making.
In these posts you will build automated assessment tools that turns River Surveillance Network (RSN) sampling data into useable national scale assessments of the environment. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your data management expertise and develop our approach for RSN outputs and products.

SAR are part of the Chief Scientist Group in our national Environment & Business Directorate. A friendly and supportive team of data and information specialists with a great reputation for delivery of key information that drives the organisation’s water environment activities. The team works together to provide mutual support, share learning, and tackle technical challenges collaboratively so that we can advance environmental legislation and improve the way we provide information to Government and the public.
