About the role

The Gemini in Dereham, Norfolk is seeking an energetic and passionate General Manager to lead our team and take our fantastic Proper Locals Pub to the next level. With a lovely garden and a £500,000 investment recently secured, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a thriving community hub.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of pub management and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. As the heart and soul of our business, you will be expected to lead by example, providing exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all who enter our doors.

Located just a mile from Dereham High Street, our pub enjoys a diverse and loyal customer base, with sales split roughly 55% drink and 45% food. As General Manager, you will have the freedom to develop and implement new ideas to drive sales and improve the overall customer experience. From hosting themed events and live music nights to partnering with local businesses and charities, your creativity and innovation will be key to our continued success.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the hospitality industry, with a deep understanding of what it takes to run a successful pub. You will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating a fun and exciting environment for both customers and employees. In addition, this role also offers live-in accommodation for the General Manager.
