General Manager – Soul & Grain and Uppercrust @ Newcastle Airport

At SSP UK we are now recruiting for an experienced and talented General Manager to lead our teams at Uppercrust and Soul & Grain, our brand new coffee & bakery concept opening this summer at Newcastle Airport.

As a General Manager, you'll be responsible for leading your team in delivering an exceptional experience to our customers at Newcastle Airport. You’ll also oversee all aspect of the restaurant’s operations, from recruitment, mentoring and training to ensuring operational standards and legal compliance. You’ll be a natural leader, someone able to motivate and inspire your team and supporting them to achieve their career goals.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Previous experience in a similar role, managing a large and diverse team within a similar environment.
• Commercial awareness with good planning and analytical skills, able to understand a P&L and confident communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong people management skills to lead, motivate and develop your team.
