We are seeking an enthusiastic Caretaker to be responsible for the day-to-day security, safety, cleanliness and general maintenance of the school. This role is varied and includes all aspects of premises management. There is an element of lone working in this role. Please see the job description attached for the full details.
The hours of work are 22 per week (split shift over 5 days) with a suggested working pattern of 08:00am to 09:10 am and 3:00pm to 6:15pm daily.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience in DIY or grounds projects preferred
Be a valued team member
Be able to use own initiative
Adhere to Health and Safety and COSHH regulations
Possess a good standard of education eg GCSE in Maths and English 5/C+ or above or equivalent
Have good timekeeping
As with all staff you will understand importance of promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in accordance with the school's safeguarding and child protection policy.

Keeping Children Safe in Education
Wyke Regis Primary Federation will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted.
