As a Chef & Brewer Kitchen Manager you should be friendly, authentic and passionate, as will need to use your natural confidence and leadership to develop an outstanding team that truly cares about the guest experience they deliver. You will be joining Greene King, with nearly 200 years of brewing experience - pubs are in our DNA. As a part of the largest Brewery & Pub Company, you’ll have many opportunities to progress, and we’ll support you every step of the way.

About the role

This is an exciting role within the Chef & Brewer brand to manage a team in an exciting brand-new refitted site in a beautiful location on the outside of Winchester with new kitchen and full investment, this will be a flagship site not only within the Chef & Brewer collection it will be a landmark site within Greene King.

The opportunity to build your own team and really shape this new business alongside an exceptional general manager.

Situated in Shawford on the outskirts of Winchester nestled in the south down , is steeped in charm next to the river Itchen with easy access to many wonderful places on the south coast .

The Bridge Inn will not only be a fantastic and beautiful site with exceptional food and drink truly exceptional external presence with an outside bar servicing the amazing views that the garden has to offer where guests can enjoy some great outside dinning

We are looking for an experienced successful kitchen manager, you will be used to leading and inspiring your team to deliver with high standards, whilst having loads of passion, be community hearted and relish the freedom to succeed.

Experience running a large team within a high volume branded business is essential to be successful in this role, you will have exceptional leadership qualities and be able to support the general manager on recruiting and training a brigade of chefs and excel in bringing a new team together to deliver.
