We are looking for a Head of Resourcing; this new senior role will be key in shaping our service going forward and implementing the improvements we need to make so that we achieve our vision of becoming an outstanding recruitment service for both candidates and recruiting managers.

Main duties of the job

You will lead the organisation's resourcing function in order to deliver strategic, innovative, timely and cost-effective recruitment and safe staffing solutions. Ensuring that the recruitment policy, practice, systems, and strategy are aligned with the requirements of the organisation, internal customers, and key external partners.

We are looking for an individual that takes a Quality Improvement approach to all aspects of work, understanding staff and candidate feedback, analysing data and metrics, and generating ideas for improvement.

Experience

  • Experience of managing a resourcing function to include working at a strategic and operational level.
  • Experience of managing through change and supporting managers in delivering organisational change.
  • Experience of ensuring support services reflect the strategic direction and priorities of the organisation.
  • Experience of leading and building capability in an HR environment.
  • Excellent line management and delegation skills with the ability to assign work at the correct level.
  • Experience of increasing productivity and continuously improving methods and approaches.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation, analytical and planning skills.
  • Experience of trend-analysis/ benchmarking to KPls (from workforce perspective).
  • Experience of formulating long term strategic plans and business planning for whole organisation.

Desirable criteria

  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks such as CQC.
  • Previous NHS Experience.
