Job Description

The Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Assistant role is primarily an administration role that is a key element within our Young People's Learning Provision (YPLP). The EHCP Assistant will work closely with our SENCO and Provision Managers, working in genuine partnership with children, young people, families, professional agencies, and the third sector.

Our aim is to ensure that the child/young person and their family can participate as fully as possible in regard to annual review process of EHC Plans.


About the role

The EHCP role ensures the smooth and efficient completion of the administrative elements of annual reviews, ensuring that children and young people receive the appropriate services and provision to meet their needs and support them in achieving the best possible education, health and care outcomes.

About you

We are looking for someone who is an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. In addition you will need to have strong verbal and written skills for communicating with a range of people and be well organised, with an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
