An exciting opportunity have arisen to join Materials management and Logistics team at Honeywell Aerospace EASA 145 Aircraft Wheels and Brakes facility in Feltham for the role of HGV Driver / Warehouse Operative (50/50 split).

This role is full-time position on 4 ON/4 OFF 12-hour shifts, 0630-1830 hours.

Day to Day Activities:

Driving: 50%

• Support airline operations by transporting aircraft wheels and brakes to and from London Stansted Airport
• Maintain records of journey times and mileage
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections

Warehousing and Systems Administration: 50%

• Responsible for preparing, loading, and unloading product on trucks
• Moving product to designated production and shipment areas
• Updating customer and local IT systems to ensure traceability of product on aircraft
• File and maintain records of shipping and receiving documents per local and customer guidelines
• Maintain good housekeeping in area

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the business’ Health & Safety culture with the team
• Incident reporting & escalation
• PPE Adherence
• Maintain strong Quality discipline ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant Quality procedures
• Training and development adherence
• Work instruction adherence
• Audit adherence
• RTY & FPY reporting
• RCCA approach to issue resolution
• Maintain TPM standards to achieve maximum equipment availability and efficiency
• 5S & Continuous Improvement culture
• Maintain 5S standards on site as per team targets and standards
• Implement improvement actions to achieve targets & standards and improve score
• Attend TIER 1 meetings
• Follow meeting agenda
• Escalate as necessary to TIER 2 meeting

Your Skills and Experience:

• HGV Class 2 Licence/Cat C (18.5 tonne rigid body Lorry)
• Criminal record check and drug screen

Desirable:

• Forklift License
