We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic team player who can manage a caseload of interns and use their initiative to respond flexibly to the needs of both interns and employers. Experience of working in a similar role and knowledge of supporting people with additional needs is desirable.
Weekly hours: 27.75 hours
Weeks per year: 38 weeks per year (45.2 paid weeks)
FTE Salary: Grade 3 Point 13 (fixed point) £24, 405.47 (actual salary £ 15,910.49)

HSDC have an exciting opportunity for a Job Coach to join the successful Supported Internship team based at South Downs.
The role will be focused on supporting young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in their work placements, building sustainable relationships with local employers and preparing interns for working life.

This is a substantial part-time role to be worked flexibly over 5 days but may also include some out of hours working in order to support business need.

As a member of staff who works less than 52 weeks per year, your salary would be calculated on the reference period 01 September to 31 August and averaged out so that you receive equal monthly instalments. As you would be starting part way through the academic year an adjustment to your monthly salary would be required for the remainder of the academic year. From the beginning of the next academic year you will receive one twelfth of your annual salary per month.
