Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant (Full Time or Part Time)

£11ph - even if you are under 23

plus Subsidised Travel.

We are a family run pub in the heart of Studland village right on the beach. We are 3 miles from Swanage and 7 miles from Bournemouth via the Sandbanks ferry and the village lies on the Breezer Bus Route 50 (Swanage - Bournemouth Train Station).

• We are looking for motivated, friendly people to join our team
• KITCHEN PORTER/ASSISTANT positions are available immediately on a FULL TIME or PART TIME basis
• We are also looking for motivated people who would like the opportunity to progress and train as KITCHEN HAND AND EVENTUALLY LINE COOK for both Hot and Cold food

We offer:

• Attractive rates of pay - you will start on at least £11 per hour (with potential summer school holiday perfomrance based bonus ) EVEN if you are under 23

Experience is NOT essential. We will provide on the job training so it is not vital that you have kitchen experience. If you are willing to put in the work, we will train you!

Duties & Responsibilities

• We will train you to be able to reproduce consistent food (cold & hot) every time
• You will be ensuring all Health & Hygiene procedures are continually adhered to Keeping all areas of the kitchen clean and free of clutter
• You will Learn about the kitchen areas and be trained to work on every section of the cook line
• You will learn to work & manage a high pressure busy section
• Play an important part in a well-oiled, close-knit team
• Good conversational English is helpful

Your working hours will include evenings and weekends so your own transport is preferable but not essential.

• Good conversational English is preferable - you will need to communicate politely with customers and team members
• You are happy to work at pace & understand how to multi task effectively - You never say 'that's not my job', we all work as a team together
• Willing & eager to learn, cross train & go above & beyond
