Mechanical Operations Manager wanted to work in the Wolverhampton area

Salary: 70-90k

Location: Wolverhampton base but on site 80% of the time

2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (What does the jobholder do?)

2.1 Prepare the project programme, including delivery strategy and ensure project milestones are reached in line with client expectations.

2.2 Attend tender hand over meetings and engineer tender information transferred into the construction files.

2.3 Select project team, chair project handover and startup meetings, in accordance with local compliance requirements.

2.4 Structure Labour in collaboration with Labour Managers; manage employee and sub- contract pool.

2.5 Attend high level meetings (sites/jobs); chair progress report meetings monthly; act as liaison between all parties.

3 SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5 years proven trade experience in a similar role or Bachelors Degree in Building Services or equivalent

Excellent organizational, communication and reporting skills.

Ability to use own initiative

Driving licence and own transport

4 SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS AND DEPUTY

This role is supervised by the Managing Director.

This role supervises on-site personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Wolverhampton, West Midlands: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Ireland or UK: 1 year (required)
