Job Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts with supporting variance analysis and commentary
• Full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations
• Be a subject matter expert on the respective BU results
• Prepare, review and challenge budgets, business plans and forecasts
• Maintain financial control processes
• Proactively suggest and implement process improvements
• Liaise with BU stakeholders on a regular basis in order to help them understand financial results
• Liaising with auditors both internally and externally
• Providing balance sheet and P&L analysis
• Other ad hoc finance tasks
• Be involved in projects as required

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

• Either have trained within a reputable accountancy firm or will have exp in a similar position.
• Qualfied ACCA/ICAS/CIMA
• Strong exp in preparation of monthly management accounts, reconciliations, audit involvement.
• Exp in dealing with difficult stakeholders & communicating with non-finance stakeholders at all levels.
• Exp working within a fast-paced commercial environment.

This role offers a competitive salary between £45,000-£50,000 plus benefits.
