About the Role

• providing a high quality service to all of our patients,
• issuing repeat medication.
• serving patients at the prescribing desk.
• helping to achieve prescribing targets within the team.
• ensuring patient data is accurate.
• safely and knowledgeably dispensing medication to those patients able to use, and signed up to, the practice dispensing service.
• offering an excellent standard of support to all clinical and practice staff, ensuring good quality service delivery and confidentiality, with patient satisfaction a priority.
• having the flexibility to be available to cover extra hours for colleagues' annual leave and short notice sickness.

About the Candidate

• NVQ 2 or NVQ 3 in dispensing (or similar level of dispensing/pharmacy technician level qualification).
• Experience of working in this field.
• A conscientious worker, with a strong team-working ethic but with the ability to achieve targets during lone working.
