Our well known client based in Royston are looking for a Flexographic Printer to join their fast-paced and busy team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a Permanent position, with a strong background within the Print/Labelling industry.

The purpose of the role is to produce labels in a timely and efficient manner, using a Flexopgraphic Printing Press.

Hours: Rotational Basis, 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm rotating weekly, Monday to Friday
Salary: £28,500 – £34,500 per year

Main duties as a Flexopgraphic Printer:
– Operate Flexopgraphic Printing equipment according to procedures and job specifications
– Ensuring that jobs are produced to the highest quality level
– Advising the Production Manager if any tooling is not performing as expected
– Following safety procedures, and maintaining work area in organised manner
– Maintain of AVT inspection equipment
– Adjusting and recording ink mixes
– Checking colours using spectro

Skills & Experience required for a Flexographic Printer:
– Excellent attention to detail
– Previous printing experience desirable
– Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
– Ability to meet physical demands of the job (lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing)
– Ability to work well as a team and individually
– Ability to follow safety procedures
