We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring, highly motivated Registered Nursing Associate to join the expanding Alcohol Care Team.
The post offers a unique opportunity to be an integral part of the Alcohol Care Team and will assist in the comprehensive assessment and treatment of patients with alcohol related conditions, provide appropriate disease related advice and promote health education in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team.
They will be expected to refer patients appropriately and in a timely manner to other service providers and clinical pathways - support is available from a Nurse Specialist as required. They will accept referrals from other Health Care Professionals; work unsupervised and manage their own Fibroscan outpatient diagnostic clinics, with regular monitoring/clinical supervision from senior staff. As such, whilst the post is based at NSECH for most of the working week, there is an expectation that the post holder has access to a vehicle to travel to NTGH, WGH and on occasion HGH.
