Job Description
The Research Team lead on supporting Principal Investigators (PIs) in the setup and delivery of research trials within the Hospital, including public health studies. We are based on site at Weston General Hospital.
The post holder will be required to work 20 hours per week during office hours, over 4 days, to support the team. Working closely with all members of the research team, the research administrator will provide a trial management, secretarial, and data handling service. The post holder will be involved in all aspects of supporting the clinical teams throughout the trial process.
The work requires initiative, accuracy and attention to detail. You will be in contact with a broad professional group, as well as members of the public; you will be expected to represent the Trust well at all times. All work will be carried out in accordance to the Clinical Trials Directive, ICH-GCP, Research Governance and local Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
