Yolk Recruitment are looking for a software developer to work with a cutting-edge technology institution working on key projects for global security.

We are looking for a developer with strong experience in Python to work within a busy operational software team. They will be expected to build new features into an existing codebase and test framework in a scalable and maintainable way. Knowledge and experience of BDD testing, Concourse, CI/CD best practices and AWS are desirable.

Responsibilities:

The team are used to delivering software to a high quality with limited room for error due to the operational nature of the work. The ideal candidate will be mission driven and independently motivated to produce well-rounded, thoroughly tested software.

The team provide first line support to operations in a scheduled rota alongside their developer roles. Although participation in this is not mandatory, the ideal candidate will show a willingness to participate in the in-hours rota or lean in during periods of critical operational importance.
