Our Team

In terms of the cloud, HashiCorp runs one of the most unique public cloud environments in the industry due to a combination of its suite of multi-cloud infrastructure automation products and its cloud platform (HCP) - built to reduce operational overhead and thus increase the value-add of HashiCorp products.

We are specifically looking for talented and experienced engineers to help us advance the mission of the Cloud Infrastructure Security team at HashiCorp - “to protect the company and its customers by establishing security guardrails in its cloud environments and to support its employees by providing paved roads for efficient and secure operation within the cloud.”

Our team provides cloud and platform security subject matter expertise, builds and operates critical systems to secure our cloud environments at scale, and collaborates with other team’s across the organization to align investments in cloud and platform security with business needs. Our cloud footprint provides a great opportunity for those passionate about Cloud Security to put their prior experience into action and to grow their careers.

You maybe be a good fit for our team if:

• You agree with, understand, and consistently display the principles of HashiCorp in your interactions and in your work.
• You have substantial experience securing cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) infrastructure.
• You have strong software development experience in Python and/or Golang, as well as architecting and operating software in cloud environments.
• You have experience codifying infrastructure (Terraform preferred).
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• You have experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• You are passionate about identifying security-related issues, as well as designing and delivering solutions to resolve them.
• You are comfortable working on a remote and globally distributed team.
