Nursery Chef
£24,960 - £27,040 per annum (Dependent on experience)

The nursery is located at 29 High Street, Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire, SL9 9QE, in the heart of this vibrant village. Our beautifully renovated character building has plenty to offer the children indoors and in our extensive outdoor areas. Our team have a wonderful staff area located away from the nursery rooms and with a dedicated kitchen fully stocked with drinks, snacks and the occasional treat. The extensive amenities of the village are on our doorstep with cafes, shops, beauty salons and a lovely park close by.

Experience / Qualifications - What you will bring to the role:

  • Current (Level 2 +) Food Hygiene & First Aid
  • Knowledge of allergens & demonstrable experience managing allergies & dietary requirements
  • Experience in managing HACCP food controls
  • Recognised Catering Qualification preferred
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
  • Good communication skills, patience & passion
  • Friendly & flexible approach at work, which facilitates the development of effective relationships
  • Previous experience working with young children would be desirable


Key Information:

  • Standard working hours are 40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday
