Job Description

Trainee - 3D Printing Parts Finisher

Training Will Be Supplied

Bidford on Avon, Warwickshire

Looking for a new challenge? Want an opportunity to change your career? We are looking for another trainee to join our team and get stuck into all aspects of the workshop team www.mnl.co.uk

With over 50 years in Rapid Prototyping, 3D Printing and Low Volume Production we pride ourselves on our reputation for the quality of the work that our team produces. Working across the Automotive, Retail, Aerospace and many other industries, no two days are the same here at MNL. We are proud to be a third-generation family business and our team really is at the heart of everything we do.

As a valued and essential member of our team, you will be working in our busy workshop supporting our team with producing and finishing 3d Printed parts for some of the UK’s leading brands.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sanding and prepping 3D printed part surfaces for finishing services – MNL offer paint spraying in many finishes up to full gloss
  • Trimming / Fettling Parts
  • Cleaning and sandblasting parts.
  • Carrying out visual quality checks
  • Packing parts for our customers
  • Support the team on an ad-hoc basis when we are busy as we have an all-hands-on-deck approach to the business.
  • Basic paint spraying of primer coats

What we are looking for;

As this is a trainee position, we are completely open on your background the only thing we are looking for is someone who is good with hand tools – maybe you’re good at DIY, fixing things or have been working in a role where you have fine attention to detail so you will be able to work with intricate and delicate parts. Experience in a workshop, warehouse or engineering background would be an advantage but it isn’t essential – what we really want is someone who has a positive and proactive approach, a team player that wants to get stuck in – we can teach the rest!

If this sounds like you, please apply with your CV and a short cover note with your availability to interview.

Please note hours will be 7 - 3.30 and we have parking on site
