Introduction
Evolve Facility Services was established in 2010 and is one of the largest in-house service providers in the UK, with offices in Widnes, Liverpool, Manchester, Carlisle, and County Durham.
We’re proud to be part of The Riverside Group family and look after around 80% of Riverside’s stock – that’s over 40,000 properties based across the Northwest, Northeast and North of England.
Our Mission is to keep our customers’ homes safe, secure, and well maintained – it’s what we do.
We now have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join our friendly team in Widnes and work on the Communal Electrical testing project across the Liverpool City Region area.
The difference you’ll make
As part of the Electrical Testing Team, you’ll play a crucial role ensuring that our communal areas, office blocks & customers’ homes are safe and compliant.
You’ll share our passion for delivering an excellent service for our customers and will be able to plan and organise your work to ensure that all jobs are completed safely and efficiently.
Teamwork is an essential part of this role, and there’s an expectation that our colleagues share best practice and provide support to each other in order to meet the common goals of the team. You’ll also actively seek out new ways to add value and take our performance to the next level.
So, who are you?
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in electrical testing, who has a sound understanding of the principles of testing, inspecting and fault finding.
You’ll also need:
· A City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
· A City & Guilds and 17th / 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
· A City & Guilds 2394 / 2392 / 2391 or equivalent testing and inspection qualification
You’ll be fully equipped with your own hand and power tools, have a full UK driving licence, and ideally have experience of driving a van.
Customer satisfaction is our absolute priority, so you’ll be able to achieve a high quality of workmanship while working on your own or as part of a team.
You’ll have excellent communication skills, and feel comfortable managing the expectations of our customers and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Although not essential, experience within the social housing sector would be an advantage.
Enjoy the rewards
We’re asking a lot from our new Electrician, but this is a job that offers true satisfaction with the chance to help keep our customers’ homes safe, secure and well maintained.
