Group Marketing Assistant

Your new role

Reporting to the Group Marketing Director you will be part of a small and collaborative marketing team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day marketing activities of our three global brands. Working in a busy, sales environment where no day is the same, you will need to deliver a high-class service to our internal and external stakeholders, including:

  • Proofreading, writing copy and creating designs for marketing collateral, including proposals, social media, emails, presentations and websites
  • Manage the social media plan and day-to-day interactions for the Group
  • Co-ordinate client and candidate exhibitions and other events as required
  • Support the ongoing development of internal and external communications
  • Identifying new media channels that will support the delivery of the Group’s business plan
  • Produce marketing analytics and carry out administration as required
  • Be a champion and protector of the three brands
  • Segment and use data for marketing campaigns

About you

This fast-paced role requires a confident communicator (written and verbal) with excellent time management/organisational skills, who can work autonomously, to tight deadlines and turnaround campaigns quickly and professionally. You will also need to be methodical with high attention to detail as professional precision is paramount to this role.

Essential experience and qualifications include:

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Media, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism or English
  • Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Desirable experience and qualifications include:
  • Google or Hubspot qualifications
  • Practical marketing experience obtained through placements or internships
  • Practical marketing experience in a professional services environment
  • Previous experience with the use of Canva or Adobe Suite
  • Experience in using Video software, Email software or Website content management systems

Location

You will be based in our head office in Town Quay, Southampton (United Kingdom) and will benefit from flexible working hours.
