The role

To assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef on the successful running of the kitchen by running a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring all recipes are accurately followed, along with food safety practices to ensure ultimate guest satisfaction.

Tru Vietnamese Restaurant & Bar due to open in May . We are an independent own restaurant serving authentic Vietnamese dishes with a modern touch. Using local fresh produce and with some creativity we create using traditional recipes to a bring our dinner an exceptional experience.

Tru Vietnamese Restaurant are seeking chef de partie to join their new opening in Forest Hill London SE23. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef looking for a new role in support the proprietor/chef to build its brand. You will have the creativity in expand using your experience to create the best experience to our dinners. An opportunity to learn and explore Vietnamese way of cooking and using its fresh ingredients.

Our firm is currently looking for a dedicated and hardworking Line Cook who has restaurant industry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience with food prep, be an enthusiastic team player, and have strong communication skills. The successful candidate for this position will have a chance to work alongside a growing team of professionals in a comfortable and relaxed work environment.

Main responsibilities:

Daily food preparation, cooking and preparing food in high quality standards

Assisting Sous Chef and Head Chef in day to day kitchen operations

Maintain food inventory on daily basis

Managing orders and deliveries

Maintaining high level of food hygiene

Monitor kitchen food preparation stations

Control wastage

Training provided
